1:16 AM;

10:05 PM;Day 8
Today we stepped out of the hotel and realised that it was raining, soon after we started on our excitingly long journey to one of the movie sets (关东电影城)in the heart of the Shenyang. It was surprisingly cold as we thought it couldn’t get any colder then it already was. It was disappointing that we couldn’t get to see snow today. When we got there, we found out that the movie crew was filming a movie. We weren’t allowed to talk when they were filming as our voice would cause the record to be ruin. After we went out, we had our lunch near by. The place was special as we sat above the charcoal seat. It nearly burned our butts! After eating, we went shopping for 2 hours. We then went to a very classy restaurant for dinner which served very unusual but tasty food. We loved the food at the restaurant! We reached the hotel at about 7.30pm. Goodnight to everyone that’s reading!

11:39 PM;Day 7

HELLO, Group E is here.
Today, early in the morning, we visited to the Shenyang Olympic Stadium. It was super ENORMOUS and surprisingly we were told that they only took 16 months to build! We were allowed to visit the dressing room, it was SUPER BIG… so much bigger than our hotel room. Then we went to the press conference room and we acted as the managers of the football teams, giving press conference and took a lot of photos for ourselves. In the afternoon, we visited the Gugong palace. At the palace, we paid some money and put on the costumes of the eunuch, empress, commander and the emperor. We had a lot of fun taking a lot of interesting photos.
After the palace visit, we went to a huge bookstore. The books, DVDs and computer games were all very cheap and we had a great shopping experience. After that we went to have dinner. Standard la wahahah.
Overall it is a wonderful day and we feel that we have a great time today. We will be looking forward to more interesting experience tomorrow.
Bye….

11:25 PM;Day 6

Hello.
Audrey, Brenna, Diana, Hiumun and Wanying here! ;D
Today is Tuesday and we had an educational trip today.
Firstly, we went to the science centre. It is different from Singapore’s science centre. Example, the tour guide told us a lot of information about spaceships and more. We rode on a squared wheel bicycle and we had a hard time riding it but it was very fun. We also went to a theatre that showed motion pictures and our seats could move just like a roller coaster ride. It was spectacular.
Everyone single one of us enjoyed the ride and we were bawling our lungs out. We even went 3 times! ;D
Next, we had a steamboat lunch. Although it was mostly beef but the food was marvelous! (: We all enjoyed our fabulous lunch! :D
Soon after, we went to Shenyang 127 middle school (north). The teachers showed us around. The students recited “di zi gui”, something about being filial.
Following on, we went to a primary school specialized in the arts.
We saw various performances and we were amazed by their wonderful performances. The one which left us the deepest impression was the Chinese dance. They had great smiles throughout the whole performance. At such a young age, they could do so much. We should really try to improve on our own skills. We also saw a lot of cute little children.(:
We went to carrefour to shop! :D
We went for dinner after our 1 and a half hour shop ;D
Then we went back to the hotel to have our rest.
Overall, we had an enjoyable day and learn much. We felt elated and euphoric, looking forward to tomorrow.
Lastly we are living everyday without knowing what day it is.
Yay us! :DDDDD
From us to you. (:
We miss each and every one of you!

10:05 PM;Day 5
Today, we started with classroom experience on Physics and Math. For the Physics lesson, we learnt about how pressure can affect many daily life phenomenon. We were impressed with the way the teacher conducted the lesson and find that Physics can be very fun. For the Math lesson, we looked at some interesting number patterens and participated with our friends in Shenyang. Next, we attended the flag-raising ceremony. It was a solemn ceremony and the student leaders conducted the proceedings very well. After lunch, we visited the Cast Musuem which is converted from an old factory. We saw many machinery and even a tram bus. We then visited the Exhibition Centre of Workers Village where we saw the mock-ups of living quarters of the workers from the 1960s to 1990s. We learnt to appreciate what we have after this short visit. Last, but not lest, we visited the long awaited Coca-cola Factory where we got to see the whole production manufacturing process of our favourite drink. We were even treated to coca-cola in the original bottles. It was definitely a fun and enriching day.

A glimpse of the living quarter of the workers in the 1960s.

The Cast Museum......too bad Iron Man is not at home.
An interesting Math lesson conducted by Mr Chen Long.

A happy family photo......Cheers!

9:09 PM;Day 2
Today, we had a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel at 7.00am. We arrived at Shenyang No.127 Middle School at 8.30am. We were warmly welcome by the school management and students. We witnessed their mass morning exercise which was an eye-opener (ACE's Day dance???). After that, both schools exchanged tokens of appreciation as an act of friendship and collaboration. We were then gathered at the Indoor Sports Hall where we had really cool fun of badminton, basketball, table-tennis, skipping and Chinese Jianzhi. This was followed by a marvelous lunch in their school canteen.
In the afternoon, we had lesson observations on Biology and Chinese Language and we were really awed by the dedication and interaction between the teachers and students of Shenyang. To end the day, we were treated to another even more delicious dinner by our hosts. We simply love every dish that they dish out :) That's all for today. Tomorrow we are going to our buddies' house for the home stay experience. We just cannot wait for tomorrow to come. Till then, tata~ :P

The Academy Award goes to......

A friendly shot with our buddies before the Biology lesson.

The two most 'attentive' students of the day.

It's China vs Singapore......Live from Shenyang.

Friendship first......studies later.......ops :)
